Since the last patch 4.0.1, it is possible to heavily reduce your damages at lvl 10. Which makes a lvl 10 character much more resistant than a lvl 19 char (as a lvl 10 twink, you can easily survive against 2 lvl 19 twinks) and a nasty dps with Lifeblood.
The following guide explains you who to easily create a lvl 10 Twink, this for every classes.
Resilience
First, you have to gather the PvP Bind on Account items (the one you buy in Wintergrasp)
Once the BoA items gathered, you have to get the following item
- Trinket (+4 resilience) : [Inherited Insignia of the Horde] Unique, you can only equip one.
- Shoulders (+3 resilience):
- Chest : don’t take the BoA chest, there is a beter item (see the following Chest paragraph)
- Weapons :
- 1 hand (+1 resilience): [Battleworn Thrash Blade] or [Sharpened Scarlet Kris] or The Blessed Hammer of Grace
- 2 hand (+4 resilience) : [Grand Staff of Jordan] or [Reforged Truesilver Champion] (take the Sword if you want to put an [Iron Counterweight] (+20 haste))
For very rich or patient player, you can try to get the [Formal Dangui]. On which you can apply a +15 resilience enchant and a Greater Rune of Warding.
- Chest (+15 resilience): find a Tailor that can craft the [Haliscan Jacket]. This is the best chest you can find a lvl 10. In fact, the jacket item level is 36 and it can be enchanted by Enchant Chest - Major Resilience (+15 resilience).
Finally, you can get 4 + 3 + 1 + 15 = 23 (1hand) or 4 + 3 + 4 + 15 = 26 (2hand) resilience.Which is approximately equal to 65% damage absorption (for the moment, the tooltip isn’t truthful, there are some hidden value)
Dodge rating
- Cloak : apply the [Enchant Cloak - Dodge] (+12 dodge rating) on your cloak. It will allow you to have around +21% dodge.
- Bracer : if you have enough stam (trough fishing hat and Arena grand master) you should enchant them with Enchant Bracer - Deflection gives you more than 9% dodge.
Parry rating
- Shield : apply the Enchant Shield - Lesser Block (+10 parry rating) on your shield. It gives you +18% parry.
Haste
As a lvl 10 twink, it is possible to get more than +200% attack speed.
- Gloves: [Enchant Gloves - Minor Haste] (+10 haste rating = +26% attack speed)
- 2hand weapon: [Iron Counterweight] (+20 haste rating = +52% attack speed)
- Herbalism : if you reach the 225 skill lvl, you get [Lifeblood] (rank 4) which grants you 59 haste (not 55, there is a bug in the tooltip). (59 haste rating = +153% attack speed).
To get even more haste, choose to create a Troll for Berserking. Beeing a troll, you can get more than +300% attack speed
Critical strike rating
Try to get as more critical strike rating as possible (through heirlooms and rings).
It is possible to get +40% critical strike chance
Hit rating
- Feet : Enchant Boots - Lesser Accuracy +5 hit rating.
